Located on the Santa Barbara Riviera, Bella Riviera, at the former St. Francis Hospital site, was initiated by the Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital Foundation (SBCH Foundation) as a means of providing affordable homes to meet the housing demands faced by those employed by the Cottage Health System.
The multi-family residential project includes 115 two and three story townhomes, villas, and cottages with spacious private courtyards and breathtaking views of the Santa Barbara Coastline and Santa Ynez Mountains. The Spanish Colonial and Craftsman style homes were built according to the standards of Built Green Santa Barbara, which aims to develop high quality, efficient homes that are both cost effective and reduce the impact on our environment.
