For nearly 50 years, Sanctuary Centers of Santa Barbara has served our community by providing individualized, trauma-informed mental health care designed to meet the unique needs of each client. Their comprehensive, community-based continuum of care offers an alternative to the traditional mental health model, bridging the gap between residential care and limited outpatient services, all focused on achieving long-term mental health stability and recovery. This exciting new building expansion will double their housing availability by adding 34 studio apartments, and also includes a new medical clinic and behavioral health center.
