The proposed project for Housing Authority of the City of Santa Barbara is a 100% affordable housing project focused on families with low or very low incomes. It includes 48 new apartments in a two and three story building built on top of a podium with a semi-subterranean garage with 60 parking spaces for the tenants and a 12 space surface parking lot for the guests accessed off Via Lucerno.

The semi-subterranean resident garage is accessed off La Cumbre at the low end of this sloped site. The site will introduce new terraced landscaping along La Cumbre. The project also includes a new community room, on-site laundry and lobby as well as substantial courtyard outdoor spaces for the residents.
