Yuru Feng was born and raised in Taiwan before studying and majoring in Spanish as an undergraduate at Tamkang University. Yuru's adventurous spirit led her to spend 3 years traveling in Spain, where she not only immersed herself in the language but also studied French and photography. Seeking further knowledge and growth, she then decided to move to the United States to pursue her Masters in Architecture at the University of Texas, Arlington.
After completing her degree, Yuru gained valuable experience while working at LMN Architects in the city of Seattle for approximately 6 years. During this time, she contributed her expertise to the design and development of various projects, including convention centers, museums, auditoriums, and banks. Yuru then made her way to the enchanting coastal city of Santa Barbara.
In Santa Barbara, Yuru has actively lent her architectural skills to a diverse range of projects. Her portfolio boasts an array of high-end residential structures, luxurious hospitality establishments, captivating high-end retail spaces, and thoughtfully designed housing complexes that beautifully blend functionality with aesthetics.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Yuru is a compassionate individual who dedicates her free time to advocating for animals. She wholeheartedly supports local non-profit organizations such as K9 Pals, Care 4 Paws, and Shadows Fund. Since 2005, she has also been actively involved in volunteering at the Santa Barbara County Animal Shelter, where she lends her assistance and care.
