Rogelio obtained his Bachelor of Architecture in 2007 from California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo. He became a member of Cearnal Collective in August of 2007. Since then, Rogelio has been working in all phases on a number of multi-unit residential projects. His involvement on these projects has given him valuable experience and understanding of what is needed and required to take a project though our local entitlement process. As a manager, his focus is to keep up to date with city planning requirements, communicate closely with our clients and the project team, and ensure that all code regulations are carefully handled and applied to a quality design. His personality allows him to maintain a strong and friendly relationship with our clients, consultants and city staff and he strongly believes that a positive relationship with the team is a direct and important benefit, not only to the team, but to the project itself.
Rogelio has begun the process of becoming a licensed architect, and looks forward to getting involved in local design review as a means of contributing to his community.
In his spare time, Rogelio enjoys drawing by hand, playing soccer, traveling and writing articles. He is actively involved in Community Youth Ministry and doing volunteer service.
As a married man and parent he believes Architecture begins at home. The process of designing and building a strong, integral and prosperous family is the learning experience that is carried out in the profession. Such experience becomes the foundation of a strong methodology to create enduring architecture with integrity and delight!
