Blenda is a bright, detail-oriented designer who brings a wealth of product knowledge and creative insight to every project. She is involved with all phases of design and is an integral part of the production and project-delivery process. Her previous experience working on high-end residential projects and within the development, property management and retail sectors provides her a unique set of skills that add to the diversity of expertise within the Collective Interiors team.
Blenda graduated with honors from the Rochester Institute of Technology and earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts of Interior Design in 2012. A highlight of her educational experience was being able to study interior architecture in Copenhagen, Finland, and Sweden. The program pushed her aesthetic boundaries and developed her strong appreciation of Scandinavian design, specifically its balance between form and function. The interiors of the Myyrmaki, Kuokkalan, and Bagsværd Churches served as some of the more inspirational spaces from her time abroad.
As an upstate New York native (ROC City!), Blenda is happy to have landed in sunny California. Her favorite things include eating, throwing B.Y.O.C. (build your own charcuterie) parties, nerding out at game nights, and planning to travel the world.
